This album is the result of buying an ’oud in Damascus in January 2010 to add to the other instruments I have been acquiring, and being given an album by Bill Frizell with lots of juicy processed acoustic guitars and banjo. It's my first instrumental album. All the songs are original compositions except "Greensleeves" (and the two hidden bonus tracks you get when you download the album). It was recorded during March – November 2010 in my house on the campus of Woodstock School, in the Indian Himalaya.

Pete Wildman grew up in Liverpool in the 60s, so couldn't avoid becoming a rock musician. He lived in the Indian Himalayas for twelve years, working at Woodstock School and recording music for fun, alone and with colleagues. He's now a Methodist local preacher.
